When not running sound and video for Immanuel, he teaches Biblical Literature and Core at Whitworth,. He’s published three books, including one on the book of Job that won an international award for best first books in theology, and two edited volumes: one regarding how God is portrayed in early Jewish literature, and a second regarding the ways in which the reception of biblical literature is shaped by perceptions of social identity and “the Other.” In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Andrea and their four kids, walking their dog Benny, reading science fiction and fantasy, and trying not to play too many video games.
